Freezer Organization Project

So I have been avoiding this since we moved.  When we moved I put all of our items from our house freezer into our garage freezer and I haven’t had time to reorganize.  It wasn’t until things started falling on my head that I realized I really needed to complete this goal.

Here is the before picture:

As you can see, things were literally just thrown in here.

I brought some of the random items into the house freezer, like popsicles and some of the veggies.

Then I organized everything by type and expiration date and wrote it on my white board on the front, so now all I need to do is glance at the front to know what I have and what I need.

Here is the finished result:

By freezing things flat I can fit more things in.  I’m pretty happy with the finished result!

Jessica’s Organization Project: Sock & Underwear Drawer

Okay so as embarrassing as this one might be, I’m willing to bet that I’m not the only one who suffers from an overflowing, mismatched sock and underwear drawer.  Here are my before pictures.

As you can see, it’s one big jumbled mess and I had to dig to find anything, usually causing more chaos.

My key to organizing is that you have to make a mess, before you get to success.

I separated everything onto my bed by bathing suits, nylons, underwear, socks, bras, etc. until the drawer was empty.

Surprisingly, I only found 1 mismatched sock!

I folded everything nicely and purchased a couple of folding baskets with separators at the Dollar Tree.

Here’s my finished product.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out and ready to tackle my daughter’s drawer today.

Happy organizing!!!

Jessica’s Weekly Goals

My hope for making a goal list is to keep myself and my family on track for what I believe God is asking us to do. ie: homeschool, budgeting and spending our money/time wisely, ministry obligations, and making our new home comfortable.  Goals are helpful in saving money because anything that you do to organize your life and time will usually save you money long-term.  Here are my weekly goals.
