Here at SWS we are dedicated to helping you save money by showing you some of the tips and tricks we have learned over the years.  Whether you are in a stable financial place or whether you are struggling, it is always wise to be a good steward of whatever resources you are given.

Beth Hawney and myself, Jessica Hawney, are sisters’-in-law, who love sharing with one another our savings, recipes, home school materials, bible studies, etc.  We talked about how much we share with our friends, family and even strangers, about our passion for saving and from there our website was formed.  Not only are we sisters by relation, but we are also sisters in Christ, hence our name, Saving With Sisters.

We feel that the Lord wants us to use our passion for saving to encourage others to be frugal as well.  The verse that we feel encompasses our vision is Philippians 4:11-13:

¹¹ I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. ¹² I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. ¹³ I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
